Private financial contributions are essential to our viability. Good news travels! Legacy Park is increasingly a popular outdoor destination. Yet, in order for our park to remain safe, inclusive, and attractive, we need your support. Any level of giving helps our organization respond to requests for better park maintenance and enhancements. City funding falls short of what we aspire to accomplish. Your donations enable us to purchase benches, picnic tables, plant material, new interactive equipment, outdoor art, and a large shade cover at the playground—things that can really make a difference for the visitor experience.
Volunteer
We are so grateful for the dedicated City employees who keep our park clean and attractive. Yet, they cannot accomplish everything that needs to be done to preserve and improve our park. Legacy Park Friends relies on volunteers to assist in the gardens and natural areas, to help with fundraising campaigns, to organize special events, to apply their creative talents for advertising and marketing— the “hands on” opportunities for volunteers can be rewarding and fun! Become a Sponsor
Consider the benefits of giving at the sponsor level of $1000 and up. Sponsor donations can make a huge impact on the popular amenities at the park. CB Caine has generously underwritten the new Children’s Sensory Garden currently in the design phase. In addition, Steve White Auto Group has kindly committed to fund two sun shades at the playground. Several individuals have purchased benches and picnic tables dedicated to their loved ones. In return for their gifts, they receive visible recognition on our website, social media, and in publications.
