Light up the Night with Luminaries in Hollingsworth Park

You can order your kits here online or by check made out to Legacy Park Friends and mail to 325 Rocky Slope Road, Suite 104, Box 101, Greenville SC 29607.  Each kit consists of 10 white paper bags, 10 votive candles, and a bag of sand to weigh down your bags.

Deadline for ordering luminary kits is December 11, 2023.

You will need to pick up your kits on December 16th between 12-3 pm in the Sumerel building parking lot, closest to Cheddington Drive in Hollingsworth Park. If you will be away, please consider buying a kit and asking your neighbor to put out your bags in front of your house. Extra bags can be donated to common areas in your neighborhood.

After you assemble your bags, place them along the side of the sidewalk at 6 pm on December 17, lighting each candle.

Please pick up your bags and dispose of the bags safely before you turn in for the night.

Our very own SANTA CLAUS will be on hand to greet families at the Pavilion in Legacy Park from 6-8 pm. Free refreshments will be served.

Only through the generosity of Legacy Park “Friends” can we fund landscaping and structural enhancements such as a picnic tables, foundation beds, shelters, and perennial pollinator plants, to name a few. Help us “Care for what we Share” by participating in this recreational event with your neighbors!
